FAQs
What is the best low maintenance fence?
Aluminum and vinyl fences are the lowest maintenance fences due to the type of material used. Aluminum requires next to no maintenance vs. vinyl which can need power washing for aesthetic purposes as needed. Vinyl won’t rot, wrap, peel, or splinter. You won’t waste money on sanding, staining, or painting every few years.
What fence is the most popular?
Red Cedar, vinyl, and aluminum fences for residential properties.
What type of fence is the cheapest?
Split rail with welded wire.
What is the best type of fence for keeping my dog in the yard?
It depends on several factors, such as the size of your yard, the breed and size of your dog, and your budget.

Wood fences have a life expectancy of about 15 years.
How long will aluminum and vinyl fences last?
Aluminum and vinyl fences will last approximately 35 years.
Do I need to get my property surveyed?
Whether you need to get your property surveyed or not will depend on what your township or borough requires. Some require that you submit a survey with your fence permit application. If it is not required by your township or borough, it is highly recommended that you obtain one for future reference. It can be costly to move a fence once installed if it is found that the fence is not built on your property.
Do I need a permit?
Most townships and boroughs require a fence permit even if you are replacing an existing fence.
Can you obtain a permit for me?
Yes, we can compete all forms for you and submit. This will be an additional fee.
How close to the property line can my fence be?
This will be determined by the regulations set forth by your township or borough. Most allow right up to the property line but not on it.
How do you price a fence job?
This will depend on the number of posts, gates, and panels needed for the job. An additional charge will be included if there is rock soil on your property that requires us to use a jackhammer to help create the holes needed to set the posts.
How long does it take to install?
A typical installation will take one to three days depending on the amount of feet of fence that is to be installed. Typically, 200 feet of fence can be completed in one day.
Do I have to be home during the installation?
While you need to be home in the morning when our installers arrive to go over the details, it is not required that you stay throughout the day.
